Beaver Weaver is a cross-stitch coloring game built around Gloria the beaver and her grandson Mikey, who are working through a stack of half-finished stitchwork. You take over the needle: pick a color from the palette, then click your way across every canvas cell that matches it until the picture fills in.

There’s no clock and no fail state, so a session is really about finding a rhythm — clear one color at a time, zoom in on the tricky spots, and watch a blank grid slowly turn into a finished scene. Finishing a canvas pays out coins, which unlock the next pattern in the set.

Controls

  • Left click a cell to stitch it in the selected color
  • Click and hold the right mouse button, then drag to pan around the canvas

Beaver Weaver runs on mouse input in the browser — there’s no separate touch layout, so it’s best played on a desktop or laptop.

Tips that actually help

  • Save the Magic Needle booster for wide-open areas — it stitches every cell of the current color across multiple lines in one go, instead of clicking each square by hand.
  • The Magic Cup is stronger but less precise: it fills a whole region with all the colors it needs at once, so it’s most useful for finishing off a canvas fast rather than for detail work.
  • Working one color across the entire canvas before switching to the next is faster than finishing one small section at a time.
