Big Shot Boxing is a 2D sports game where you step into the ring to build a career as a professional fighter. You start at the bottom of the rankings, choosing your opponent for each match to climb the ladder toward the championship. Between bouts, you must hire a coach and spend your earnings to train three core stats: health, power, and speed.
The matches are tactical rather than button-mashers. You have a stamina bar that depletes with every punch you throw or take, meaning wild swinging will leave you exhausted and vulnerable. Success requires stepping in to land a quick jab or a heavy cross, then stepping back or keeping your guard up while your energy recovers. When knocked down, you have to button-mash to beat the referee’s count and get back on your feet.
