Critters Quest is an idle game where you rescue and raise cute critters, explore for new companions, and grow a cozy animal sanctuary over time.
Critters Quest
Critters Quest is a laid-back idle game built around collecting animals rather than fighting your way through them. You start by picking a companion, a cat or a dog, then head out into the game’s world to track down more critters to bring back to a sanctuary you’re slowly building up.
Once a critter joins your collection, it keeps working for you even when you’re not looking: your sanctuary earns passive rewards over time, so checking back after a break is as much a part of the loop as the exploring itself. It’s a game about growing something gradually, not about quick reflexes.
Controls
Move your companion with WASD or the arrow keys on desktop, or a virtual joystick on mobile. Menu choices, like picking your starting companion or interacting with critters, are handled with a simple click or tap.
Tips
- Check back periodically even when you’re not actively playing — the sanctuary keeps generating rewards on its own, so idle time isn’t wasted time.
- Keep exploring rather than sitting still; new critters to catch are out in the world, not waiting at your sanctuary.
