Defend your hoard of gems as the villain: build monster towers and cast spells to stop invading heroes before they reach your treasure.
Cursed Treasure
Cursed Treasure flips the usual tower defense setup: you aren’t the kingdom under attack, you’re the monster guarding the hoard. Waves of knights, archers, and other do-gooder adventurers march in from the edge of the map determined to carry off your gems, and it’s your job to wipe out every last one of them before they get there.
Each level is a short, tense hold-the-line puzzle. Beaten enemies drop gold, which you spend on new monster towers or upgrades to the ones already on the map, plus a couple of offensive spells you can drop straight onto a wave when your towers alone won’t hold the line. Lose too many gems and the level’s over, so where you build in the first few seconds matters more than how much you panic-spend later.
Controls
Cursed Treasure runs entirely on the mouse, or a finger on touch devices — there’s no keyboard involved. Click a tower or spell icon to select it, then click a tile on the map to build there or a target to cast the spell.
Tips that actually help
- Not every tile takes every tower — some ground only allows certain tower types, so scout the map before committing your first gold.
- Upgrading a tower you already own is usually a better use of gold than dropping a new cheap one — a maxed tower on a good chokepoint carries a level.
- Hold your strongest spell for the wave that’s already breaking through your towers rather than the first enemy you spot.
