Guide your spider safely to the ground in Dangle, a classic physics-based skill game where you swing from webs to dodge spikes and obstacles.
Dangle
In Dangle, you control a brave little spider hanging from a single thread of web. Your goal is simple but incredibly challenging: navigate safely from the top of the level all the way down to the ground. Gravity is your engine, but swinging with just the right amount of momentum is the key to surviving the descent.
Every stage introduces a new gauntlet of hazards to avoid, from sharp spikes to patrolling enemies that will pop your spider on contact. Because your spider sticks to any platform it touches, you have to carefully measure each swing and decide when to drop further down or climb back up to rethink your angle.
Controls
- Mouse Movement: Move left and right to build swinging momentum.
- Click and Hold (Below): Point your cursor below the spider to descend further down the web.
- Click and Hold (Above): Point your cursor above the spider to climb back up the web.
Tips for Surviving the Descent
- Patience pays off: Don’t just hold the drop button. Take your time to establish a smooth, predictable swing before committing to a long descent.
- Use platforms to brake: If you’re carrying too much speed and heading toward danger, touching a safe wall or platform will stick your spider in place, allowing you to reset your swing.
- Retreat when needed: Climbing back up your web is just as important as dropping down. If an enemy’s patrol pattern doesn’t line up with your swing, climb up and wait for a better opening.
