Hexellent is a browser puzzle game built around a wall of hexagon tiles arranged in bright, banded colors — red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple, stacked like rows of poker chips. It’s a small Defold-engine title distributed through Poki, so it loads straight into the puzzle grid in your browser with nothing to install.

There’s no story or menu clutter here — just the grid and your cursor. Sessions are short and screen-sized, which makes it an easy game to open for a few minutes between other tasks rather than settle into for a long stretch.

Controls

  • Desktop: left-click the hexagon tiles with your mouse.
  • Mobile/touch: tap the tiles on the screen.

Play is entirely pointer-based, so Hexellent works about as well on a phone or tablet as it does at a desk. If you like compact, color-focused puzzles you can dip into for a few minutes at a time, it’s worth a look — just don’t expect deep systems or lengthy progression from it.
