Hill Climb Racing Lite

Take control of Newton Bill, the aspiring uphill racer, in Hill Climb Racing Lite. This browser-optimized version of the legendary physics-based driving game challenges you to navigate steep, rugged terrain in a variety of vehicles. Your objective is simple yet addictive: drive as far as possible without flipping over, while collecting coins and keeping your fuel tank filled.

Every run is a test of physics and patience. Rushing too fast over a crest can launch your vehicle into a wild flip, while hesitating for too long will exhaust your fuel supply. With realistic physics, responsive controls, and challenging tracks like the classic Countryside, this HTML5 edition delivers the full charm of the original game directly in your browser without any downloads.

Controls

Hill Climb Racing Lite features a straightforward two-button layout for both desktop and mobile players:

  • Accelerate (Gas): Press and hold D or the Right Arrow Key on desktop, or tap and hold the right side of the screen on mobile devices.
  • Brake (Reverse): Press and hold A or the Left Arrow Key on desktop, or tap and hold the left side of the screen on mobile devices.

Tips for High Scores

  • Balance in Mid-Air: Once your tires leave the ground, you can still control the pitch of your vehicle. Use the brake key to tilt the nose down and the accelerator to tilt it up. Always aim to land flat on both wheels to maintain momentum and prevent crashes.
  • Manage Your Throttle: Feather the gas pedal rather than holding it down constantly. Continuous acceleration will cause your vehicle to flip backward on steep hills, and you will waste valuable fuel wheelie-ing.
  • Prioritize Upgrades: Spend your collected coins in the garage to upgrade key parts. Prioritize the engine and suspension first to handle steep climbs, then upgrade tires for traction, and 4WD to stabilize your climbs.

If you love physics-based vehicle challenges, you can also test your stunts in Moto X3M or master drift mechanics in Drift Boss.
