Whack em all Whack em all

Hammer down moles and critters popping out of five holes in Whack Em All, a fast whack-a-mole arcade game with a combo-driven Super Hammer mode.

Whack em all

fugiman

Moles, gophers, and a handful of other critters keep popping up out of five holes, and your only job is to smack them back down before they duck away. Whack Em All is a straight arcade reflex test: no story, no upgrades to grind, just a hammer, a shrinking window to react, and a score that climbs as fast as you can swing.

Each round runs on a 60-second clock. Characters spawn faster the longer you survive, so the calm rhythm of the first few seconds turns into a blur of overlapping pop-ups by the end. Land three or more hits inside about a second and a half and you trigger Super Hammer mode, doubling your points for the next ten seconds — chaining hits, not just landing them, is how the big scores happen. Watch out for the one character that costs you points instead of earning them; in the rush to keep tapping, it’s the easiest thing on the board to hit by mistake.

Controls

Point and click (or tap on a touchscreen) directly on a character as it pops out of its hole. There’s no keyboard input — the whole game is played with the mouse or a finger.

Tips that actually help

  • Keep your eyes on the middle of the board rather than any single hole — you’ll catch new pop-ups in your peripheral vision faster than by scanning hole to hole.
  • Chase the Super Hammer window deliberately: once you land two hits close together, look for a third nearby character to lock in the multiplier before it expires.
  • Don’t rush the very first spawns just to build combo momentum — mistiming an early hit on the penalty character costs more than the slow start saves.
  • Difficulty ramps on a timer, not on your score, so pace your reactions for a harder back half rather than burning out trying to keep an early pace.
