ZOOM-BE 2 drops you back into the shoes of two zombie brothers who wake up trapped inside a secret laboratory, out for revenge on the guards and mercenaries who put them there. It’s a co-op puzzle platformer: one zombie is small and quick, able to squeeze through gaps and jump higher, while the other is big and slow but can kick down doors, smash generators, and hurl toilets and TVs at anything in his way.
Each stage is a small physics puzzle dressed up as a jailbreak. You switch between the two brothers, or split control with a friend, to trigger switches, power platforms by kicking generators, and clear a path past drones and armed mercenaries. New enemies and objects show up compared to the first game, so old routes don’t always work the same way twice.
Controls
- Move: A/D or the Left/Right arrow keys
- Jump: W or the Up arrow key
- Kick / interact: S or the Down arrow key
- Two players: one uses WASD, the other uses the arrow keys, so you can each control a brother at the same time
Tips
- Send the big brother in first on any level with a wooden door or a guard in the way — he can kick both down, clearing a path for the small one to follow.
- If you’re stuck, look around for a generator before anything else. Kicking it usually powers the platform you need to reach the next section.
ZOOM-BE 2 is built for two people on one keyboard, though it plays fine solo if you don’t mind hopping between both brothers yourself.
