1010! Deluxe is a casual but demanding block puzzle game that requires careful spatial planning. Instead of dropping pieces from the top like Tetris, you are given a 10×10 grid and three randomly generated shapes at a time. You can place these blocks anywhere on the board as long as there is open space for them. Your goal is to form full horizontal or vertical lines, which instantly clear out and make room for new blocks.
The pace is entirely dictated by you, making it an excellent game for short breaks or relaxed sessions. There is no time limit and no gravity forcing your hand. The challenge comes purely from managing the board space. As the grid fills up, finding the right spots for bulky shapes becomes increasingly difficult, and the game ends the moment you can no longer fit one of your given pieces onto the board.
Controls
- PC: Use the mouse to click and drag pieces from the bottom of the screen onto the grid.
- Mobile/Tablet: Tap and drag shapes onto the board.
Tips for 1010! Deluxe
- Prioritize big pieces: Always look at your three given blocks before making a move. Place the largest and most awkward pieces (like the 3×3 squares or long 5-block lines) first.
- Leave open lanes: Try to keep at least one straight 5-block vertical or horizontal lane clear. You will inevitably get long straight pieces, and having no space for them is the most common way to lose.
- Clear multiple lines: While clearing a single line is good for survival, setting up the board to clear two or three lines simultaneously with a single piece will earn you a much higher score.
