2048 Balls drops the familiar merge-matching-numbers idea into a bouncing, physics-driven container. You aim with the mouse and release numbered spheres one at a time; they tumble down, bounce off each other, and fuse into the next value up whenever two matching numbers touch. The goal is the same as the tile version everyone knows — work your way up to 2048 — but here gravity and momentum decide exactly where each ball lands, not a fixed grid.
The tension comes from the container itself: it only holds so many balls before it overflows, so every drop is a small trade-off between clearing space now and setting up a bigger merge later. A session is short bursts of aiming, watching physics take over, and reading the pile before it gets too tall to manage.
Controls
Move your mouse to aim, then left-click to drop the ball. On phones and tablets, the same aiming and dropping is done with a tap.
Tips that actually help
- Don’t just drop straight down the middle — aim toward the edges early so the center stays open for the merges that need room to bounce.
- Clear small matching pairs as soon as you see them instead of stacking more balls on top; a buried low number is a wasted merge later.
- Watch the fill line, not just the next ball. If the container is getting tall, prioritize any drop that removes balls over one that merely adds a new low number.
