Run 3 takes the classic endless runner formula and throws it into the depths of space. Instead of simply dodging obstacles on a flat track, you control a small gray alien navigating a hollow, three-dimensional tunnel suspended in the cosmos. The defining twist is that gravity is relative: running into a wall rotates the entire tunnel, instantly making that wall your new floor. This mechanic turns every gap and barricade into a spatial puzzle, forcing you to think ahead and find the safest path across an ever-shifting landscape.

The game is split into two distinct ways to play. Explore Mode guides you through a massive galaxy map of handcrafted levels, unlocking new routes, cutscenes, and characters with entirely different physics, like the high-jumping Skater or the hovering Pastafarian. Infinite Mode, on the other hand, is a test of pure survival, throwing a randomized, endless sequence of tunnels at you to see how long you can last before plummeting into the void.

Controls

The controls for Run 3 are straightforward and designed for quick reactions.

• Left and Right Arrows (or A/D): Move left and right. Move against a wall to rotate the tunnel.
• Up Arrow, Spacebar, or W: Jump over gaps and obstacles.

Tips that actually help

• Don’t just jump, rotate: It’s often safer to run onto the wall to bypass a tricky jump entirely. If a platform looks too far to reach, there’s probably a solid path on the side.
• Control your jump height: Holding the jump key longer gives you more height and distance. Tapping it lightly is crucial for slipping under low overhangs.
• Unlock the Skater early: The Skater character falls faster but has a much longer jump and moves quicker. They are perfect for clearing the wider gaps in later levels.
• Plan your landing: When jumping between faces of the tunnel, remember that gravity won’t shift until you land. Aim for the center of your target tile to avoid slipping off the edge as the camera turns.
