Agma.io drops you into a massive multiplayer arena where the rule is simple: eat or be eaten. Starting as a tiny cell, you navigate the map to consume glowing pellets and grow larger. But the real challenge comes from the other players sharing the server with you. If you are bigger, you can swallow them whole; if they are bigger, you need to run. It takes the addictive core of classic .io cell games and injects it with a huge layer of progression, including clans, power-ups, and an extensive skin economy.
A typical session swings from quiet farming to frantic chases in seconds. You might be slowly grazing on pellets one moment, only to have a massive player split their cell in half to launch themselves at you. Surviving means constantly watching your surroundings, knowing when to team up, and managing your mass efficiently so you don’t become a slow, easy target. It’s fast, competitive, and highly social.
Controls
- Mouse / Touch: Move your cell
- Spacebar: Split your cell in half
- W: Eject mass (feed others or push viruses)

Tips for Dominating the Arena
- Use viruses defensively: The green, spiky virus cells will burst large players into many small pieces. If a giant player is chasing you, press W rapidly to feed a virus until it shoots a duplicate toward your attacker.
- Don’t split too often: Splitting makes you faster and covers more ground, but it leaves your smaller pieces highly vulnerable. Only split when you are certain you can consume your target.
- Corner your prey: The map has boundaries. Instead of chasing a smaller player in a straight line forever, try to herd them toward the edge or a corner where they have no room to dodge your split attack.
- Grab the gold: Keep an eye out for golden coins scattered around the map. Collecting them allows you to buy helpful power-ups and cosmetic skins from the shop.
