Players are presented with eight tableau columns, six reserve piles, and a stock pile, with the challenge of clearing all cards into eight foundations.

Every round feels like a puzzle. Unlike standard solitaire where cards can only build down in alternating colors, Algerian Solitaire allows you to build both up and down on the tableau using the same suit. Furthermore, you must build four foundations up from Ace to King and four foundations down from King to Ace. This dual-direction sorting demands forward-thinking, as every single card moved can either open up a path or block a crucial suit sequence.

Controls

Desktop (PC): Click and drag cards using your mouse cursor. Click on the stock pile at the bottom to deal new cards when you run out of moves.

Mobile (Touch): Tap and drag cards using touchscreen controls. Tap the stock pile to deal new cards.

Tips to Win

Anchor the Foundations Early: Since you need to build four piles up from Ace to King and four down from King to Ace, locate and play your Aces and Kings to the foundation zone as soon as they become available.
Keep Tableau Columns Empty: Empty columns on the tableau are your most valuable resource. They can hold any single card, giving you a temporary sorting space to unblock cards stuck deep in the reserve.
Build Same-Suit Sequences: Take advantage of the same-suit stacking rule on the tableau. Stack cards in matching suits (either up or down) to keep columns organized and make it easier to transfer cards to foundations.
Drain the Reserve Before Stock Dealing: Only deal new cards from the stock pile when you have exhausted all possible moves on the tableau and reserve. Once dealt, stock cards cover your reserves, making older cards harder to access.
