Astrix.ioPilot a growing starship in Astrix.io, an Agar.io-style multiplayer space shooter — collect plasma, dodge fire, and fire missiles to win dogfights.
Astrix.io
Astrix.io drops you into a free-for-all space arena that plays like Agar.io with guns: everyone starts as a small ship, and the only way to get bigger and stronger is to fly through plasma and grow your mass while staying alive.
Matches move fast. You aim with the mouse while dodging enemy fire, boosting past ships you’re not ready to fight, and lining up shots on smaller ones. Asteroids drift through the field too — shoot them out and they can drop powerups worth breaking off for. If you sign in, every kill, near-miss, and death gets tallied on your Commander profile, so a session is as much about climbing your own stats as the leaderboard.
Controls
- Aim: mouse
- Shoot: left click or Space
- Accelerate: right click or W
- Boost: Q
- Missiles: E
Tips that actually help
- Clear plasma even when nobody’s shooting at you — mass makes your ship stronger, and you won’t out-duel bigger ships without it.
- Shoot down asteroids in your path; the powerups they drop are worth the detour before another ship grabs them.
- Use Boost (Q) with intent — to close on a target or break off a losing fight — instead of holding it the whole match.
If you like the aim-and-dogfight loop, Wings.io is the same idea with fighter jets instead of growing ships.
