Play Bowman, a turn-based archery duel: draw back your shot, judge the angle and power, then fire before your opponent lines up theirs.
Bowman
Bowman is a two-player archery duel, and every round comes down to the same tense exchange: draw back a shot, judge the angle and power, and let go before your opponent lines up theirs. It’s turn-based, so there’s no twitch reflex involved — just reading the arc of your last shot and correcting for it.
Play solo against an AI archer, hand the mouse to a friend for local head-to-head matches, or warm up in practice mode against a stationary target before you take on a real opponent. Difficulty settings change how much damage each hit does, so a beginner-friendly round and a hardcore one-shot-kill round feel noticeably different.
Controls
- Hold the left mouse button to draw your shot.
- Move the mouse to set the angle and power of the arrow.
- Release the mouse button to fire.
On touch devices, the same hold-drag-release motion works with your finger in place of the mouse.
Tips that actually help
- Small mouse movements matter more than they look — a tiny angle change swings the arrow’s landing spot a lot over a long distance.
- Watch where your opponent’s arrows land relative to you, then apply roughly the same correction in the opposite direction on your own shot.
- Use practice mode to find the power needed to hit a fixed target before you fight — it removes one variable from a tense live trade.
