Box Tower is a one-touch stacking game built around a single moving piece. A block slides back and forth above your tower, and you have to catch it in exactly the right spot — line it up with the block below and the tower keeps its full width; misjudge it and the overhanging part gets sliced clean off, leaving you with a narrower target for the next drop.

There’s no menu of levels or modes to dig through, just one tower and one score to beat. Each successful drop adds another block and nudges the swing a little faster, so the run naturally shifts from careful and deliberate at the start to a quick-reflex test near the top. Land a block perfectly and the game calls it out; land enough of them in a row and the tower stays wide enough to give you room to recover from a shakier drop later. Miss the stack completely and it’s game over, with your score compared against your own best.

Controls

  • Mouse: click anywhere to drop the moving block
  • Keyboard: press Space to drop
  • Touch: tap the screen to drop

Tips that actually help

  • Watch the block itself rather than the edges of the tower — timing off its swing is more reliable than trying to judge the drop zone visually.
  • Chase “Perfect” hits early on. Keeping the tower at full width buys you more forgiveness for an off-center drop once the pace picks up.
  • As the swing speeds up, resist the urge to react faster — the rhythm stays consistent, so drop on the same read you used when it was slower.
