Brain Test: Tricky Puzzles isn’t interested in playing fair. Every one of its riddles looks like an ordinary puzzle — count the sheep, help the fish escape, find the cat — until you realize the obvious answer is a trap. The trick is rarely in the words of the question; it’s in something you’re not supposed to notice, like an object sitting outside the puzzle frame, a typo in the instructions, or a shape that only makes sense if you drag it somewhere it doesn’t belong.

There’s no timer and no fail state pushing you along, so the pace is entirely up to you: some levels click in seconds, others need you to tap and drag everything on screen just to see what moves. That’s really the whole loop — read the question literally, ignore what you’d expect a “normal” puzzle game to want, and poke at everything until the level breaks open.

Controls

  • Mouse: click, drag, and move objects around the screen to interact with each puzzle
  • Touch: tap and drag directly on phone and tablet screens

Tips that actually help

  • Read the question exactly as written — riddles here are picky about wording, and the literal reading is usually the real clue.
  • If nothing on screen looks interactive, try dragging things that seem like background decoration. Interactive objects aren’t always obvious.
  • Check outside the “frame” of the puzzle too — buttons, numbers, or text elsewhere on the screen are sometimes part of the solution.
  • Stuck levels are rarely about speed or precision. If an action isn’t working, the fix is almost always a different idea, not a retry.
