Cosmos Lines is a quiet, grid-based puzzle game set against a backdrop of stars and nebulae. Each level hands you a board scattered with numbered dots, and your job is to draw a line out of every dot whose length exactly matches its number, weaving all of them across the grid so the paths cover every cell without crossing or overlapping. There’s no timer pushing you along and no penalty for a wrong guess beyond starting the line over, so it plays best as a slow, one-puzzle-at-a-time kind of game.

The difficulty climbs gradually: early boards only need a handful of short lines, while later ones pack the grid with longer numbers that have to be routed around each other like a logic puzzle. A hint button is there for when a layout stops making sense, so getting stuck never means being stuck for good.

Controls

  • Desktop: click a numbered dot and drag to draw its line across the grid.
  • Mobile/touch: tap a dot and drag your finger along the path you want the line to take.

Tips that actually help

  • Start with the dots that have the fewest possible paths, usually ones near a corner or edge — they lock in fastest and narrow down the rest of the board.
  • A line’s length is fixed by its number, so if a path would leave an unreachable gap of empty cells elsewhere, that path is wrong even if it looks fine locally.
  • If a level feels impossible, back up one or two lines instead of restarting the whole board — one wrong early line is usually the actual problem.
