Cube Miner Escape from Prison starts you off in a cell with one way out: straight down. Underneath the block is a mine, and that mine is both your prison and your escape route — dig through dirt, stone, and whatever gets in the way, and every layer you clear opens more tunnel toward a way back to the surface.
The dig is never just digging. You gather resources as you go and haul them up to trade with merchants for better gear, keep your mine generator fed so it pulls resources out faster, and eat food along the way for a temporary boost when a stretch of tunnel gets rough. When solid rock blocks the path forward, dynamite blasts it open — save it for the walls a pickaxe can’t touch, and it’ll uncover the hidden routes that actually lead out.

Tips that actually help
- Top up the mine generator before committing to a long tunnel — a fuller tank means faster extraction, so you’re not standing around waiting on it mid-dig.
- Save dynamite for rock that’s actually blocking you. It clears paths nothing else can, so burning it on a tunnel you could just walk around leaves you without it when you need it.
- Trade up before you push deeper. Merchants sell armor and tool upgrades, and the lower layers are a lot less forgiving without them.
