Double Edged is an action-packed, ancient Greek-themed beat ’em up game where you battle hordes of mythical enemies. Play solo or team up with a friend in local co-op as you punch, slash, and smash your way through waves of armored foes and epic bosses.
The combat is fast and chaotic. You start bare-handed but can quickly pick up weapons dropped by defeated enemies, ranging from swords and spears to giant clubs. You can even pick up the enemies themselves and throw them at each other to clear the screen.
Controls
- Movement: Arrow Keys or WASD
- Action: Use the on-screen buttons or keyboard action keys to jump and attack
- Grab / Throw: Stand over a weapon or stunned enemy and press your attack button
Tips that actually help
- Use the environment: You can pick up almost anything, including rocks, barrels, and even smaller enemies. Throwing them is a great way to deal damage from a safe distance.
- Keep moving: Enemies will quickly surround you if you stand still. Keep repositioning to funnel them into your attacks.
- Conserve good weapons: Large weapons like clubs deal massive damage but swing slowly. Switch back to faster attacks if you are getting overwhelmed by quick enemies.
