Drednot.io (Dredark)
Drednot.io (also known as Dredark) is a multiplayer 2D sandbox game that puts you and your friends in control of your own custom-built spaceship. Starting with a basic ship, you’ll need to explore the galaxy, mine asteroids for resources like copper and iron, and craft upgrades to survive. Every block on your ship matters, from the thrusters that give you mobility to the shields and turrets that protect you from hostile players and AI enemies.
What makes the game special is the real-time collaboration. You can walk around freely inside your ship while it’s moving, operating turrets manually, repairing damaged hull blocks mid-fight, or managing the fabricators to produce ammunition. Whether you’re designing a nimble fighter or a massive dreadnought with a full crew, survival requires good ship design and teamwork.
Controls
- WASD or Arrow Keys: Move your character
- Space: Jump
- Left Click: Use item, place block, or shoot (when manning a turret)
- Right Click: Mine blocks or remove items
- E: Interact with ship consoles, fabricators, and doors
- Q: Drop the item you are currently holding
- Mouse Scroll: Cycle through your inventory hotbar

Tips for Surviving
- Start small: Don’t try to build a massive cruiser right away. A small, fast ship is much easier to defend and requires fewer resources to maintain while you are learning the ropes.
- Protect your core: Your ship’s core is its most vital component. Keep it surrounded by strong armor blocks and bury it deep inside your ship’s layout.
- Stockpile ammo: Turrets run out of ammunition quickly during a firefight. Always keep your fabricators producing ammo, and ensure your shields are powered.
- Team up: Piloting, shooting, and repairing all at the same time is difficult. Invite friends or join an existing crew to share the workload.
