Drive Mad is a physics-based driving puzzle game where navigating a blocky truck over challenging obstacle courses is a true test of patience and skill. Instead of simply racing against the clock, every level presents a unique mechanical challenge. You will need to carefully balance acceleration and braking to prevent your truck from flipping, snapping in half, or tumbling into the water below.
As you progress, the stages introduce wildly different vehicles and increasingly complex mechanics. One level might have you driving a truck with massive, bouncy tires that easily tip over, while another puts you in a rigid, elongated vehicle that struggles to climb steep stairs. Figuring out how to control each strange new machine without crashing makes every successfully completed course highly rewarding.
Controls
- Accelerate: W, D, Up Arrow, Right Arrow, or tap/hold the right side of the screen.
- Brake/Reverse: S, A, Down Arrow, Left Arrow, or tap/hold the left side of the screen.
Tips for Survival
- Respect the physics: Smashing the gas pedal non-stop will almost certainly cause your car to backflip. Feather the throttle to maintain balance on uneven terrain.
- Use reverse to stabilize: If your front wheels are lifting too high, quickly tapping the brake or reverse can slam your nose back down to the ground.
- Momentum is key for jumps: Some gaps require full speed, but landing on an incline means you need to adjust your tilt mid-air so your wheels hit flat.
