Drunken Boxers Drunken Boxers

Play Drunken Boxers, a ragdoll physics boxing game where stumbling fighters trade wild punches in best-of-five matches, solo or with a friend.

Drunken Boxers

fugiman

Drunken Boxers throws two ragdoll fighters into the ring and takes away everything you’d expect to work in a boxing game. Your character sways, staggers, and overcorrects with every step, so a punch that should land clean sails past or clips you on the follow-through instead. It’s less about timing a combo and more about wrestling your own fighter into position before your opponent does the same.

Matches are best-of-five: the first boxer to win five rounds takes the fight. A round ends the moment someone gets knocked down, which can happen from a single lucky haymaker or a slow, clumsy collapse after both fighters flail at each other for a while. Playing against the CPU is fine for learning the physics, but the game is built for two people sharing a keyboard, trading rounds and laughing at the misses as much as the hits.

Controls

  • Player 1: WASD to move and throw punches
  • Player 2: Arrow keys to move and throw punches

Tips that actually help

  • Stop aiming for combos. The ragdoll physics punish precise timing more than they reward it — throw single punches and adjust based on where your fighter actually ends up, not where you meant to be.
  • Watch your opponent’s stumble, not their swing. Their momentum telegraphs an opening a half-second before their fist does.
  • Winning ugly still counts. A round you barely stay upright for is worth exactly as much as a clean knockout.
