Eaglercraft
Eaglercraft is a browser port of Minecraft that runs in a tab without any download, Java install, or Microsoft account. You get the actual game — infinite procedurally generated worlds in classic block style, full Survival and Creative modes, and multiplayer over WebSocket servers. It covers both major versions of the game: 1.5.2 for the older style and 1.8.8 for slightly more refined combat and rendering. The main reason it spread so fast is that it removes every account barrier while keeping the core sandbox intact.
Survival puts you through the familiar arc: collect wood, craft basic tools, build shelter before dark, and deal with whatever spawns overnight. The first few nights set the pace — if you have walls and a door, you can expand at your own speed from there. Creative mode hands you every block and unlimited flight, so it works equally well for architecture, redstone experiments, or just exploring how the terrain generates. Multiplayer is where most players spend the long haul: grab a public WebSocket server address from the main menu list or enter one a friend shares, and you are in the same world in seconds.
Controls

The standard Eaglercraft build requires a keyboard and mouse. Mobile is not supported.
Tips
- Make a crafting table your first crafted item. Open your 2×2 inventory grid, craft planks from logs, then craft the table — almost every recipe after that needs the 3×3 grid it provides.
- Never dig straight down. A vertical shaft can drop you into a lava pocket with no recovery option. Dig in a staircase or angle your descent so you can stop and back up.
- Place torches as you build, not after. Torches block mob spawns inside enclosed spaces. If you wait until the structure is finished, you may be clearing out spawned enemies instead of building.
- For multiplayer, the server list in the main menu has public WebSocket addresses. You can also enter a custom address directly — useful when a friend is hosting a private world.
