Set up explosive chain reactions, buzzsaws, and laser traps in Happy Room to test ragdoll physics and unlock new laboratory weapons.

Happy Room is a physics sandbox game where you design automated test chambers to measure how much damage various traps and weapons can inflict on a ragdoll dummy. Set inside a high-tech laboratory, each round lets you place an array of explosives, buzzsaws, spikes, lasers, and launchers along the room’s walls, floor, and ceiling before triggering the test run.

The core gameplay centers on spatial layout and chain reactions. As your traps deal damage, you earn cash that opens up more destructive hardware and upgrade paths. Balancing trap placement so ragdolls get bounced continuously between hazards is the key to completing research objectives and unlocking top-tier weaponry.

Controls

Mouse & Keyboard:

  • Left Click: Select, place, upgrade, or remove traps from the chamber grid
  • Click & Drag: Adjust weapon angles and positioning where applicable
  • Spacebar / On-Screen Play: Start or reset the test run

Touchscreen Devices:

  • Tap: Select weapons from the menu and position them inside the room
  • On-Screen Buttons: Launch tests and reset the dummy

Tips for Better Trap Layouts

  • Create Bounce Chains: Place springboards or explosive mines near entry points to push the dummy directly into stationary hazards like buzzsaws or laser beams.
  • Prioritize Upgrade Synergy: Upgrading trap trigger speeds and damage radius early helps clear reward milestones faster than buying single high-cost items.
  • Target Mission Objectives: Check specific task goals before building—some assignments require specific weapon combinations rather than raw total damage.
