Elasticman is a browser physics toy built around one mechanic: grab any part of a stretchy cartoon figure with your mouse and pull. The body stretches to improbable lengths, deforms under pressure, and snaps back when you let go. There are no levels, no timer, and nothing to unlock — the physics simulation is the game.
What makes it work is how the elasticity feels. The figure compresses and rebounds with a springy weight that stays satisfying across many minutes of play. Grab a foot and drag it across the screen; grab the head and squish the torso flat; hold a limb taut and release it to watch the whole body whip. Each interaction behaves differently depending on where and how hard you pull. It is the kind of tab you open when you want to think about nothing at all.
Controls
- Mouse: click and drag any part of the figure to stretch it; release to let it snap back
- Touch: tap and drag works the same way on phones and tablets
Getting the Most from It
- Grab from a limb tip for maximum stretch; grabbing near the torso gives more controlled compression.
- Drag fast and release all at once — the snap-back is more dramatic with a quick release than a slow one.
- Pull two opposite limbs in sequence to get the figure oscillating on its own.
Elasticman runs entirely in the browser with no install or login. It fits a short break perfectly — open it, mess with the physics for a few minutes, close it.
