Play Gobble, a voxel puzzle game where you drag a giant hungry mouth around each level, swallowing objects but never touching the people.
Gobble
Gobble puts you in control of a gaping, voxel-block mouth buried in the ground, and every level is a stretch of scenery you have to clear out. Cacti, rocks, crates, sheds — whatever’s scattered around, you steer the mouth underneath it and the object drops in, chomp by chomp, until the ground is bare.
The one rule: don’t eat the people. Tiny figures wander through each level, and swallowing one ends the run immediately, so the puzzle is really about reading the layout and clearing everything else while keeping the mouth away from them. Levels are short and bite-sized, and every so often the game adds a new object or a new twist to the swallow-everything formula, so the challenge keeps shifting instead of repeating the same trick.
Controls
- Move: arrow keys or WASD
- Alternative: click and drag with the mouse to steer the mouth
Tips that actually help
- Clear loose, small objects first so they don’t block your path to bigger clusters later in the level.
- People tend to wander near piles of objects — approach those clusters slowly and watch where they’re heading before you commit.
- If a level won’t finish even though it looks clear, there’s usually one stray object hidden behind scenery; Gobble needs everything gone, not just the obvious pile.
It’s a good pick for short sessions — each puzzle wraps up in well under a minute, so it’s easy to open for a few rounds and put down again.
