Marble Boom Marble Boom

Shoot colored marbles into a moving chain, match three or more to clear them, and keep the chain from reaching the hole in Marble Boom.

Marble Boom is a marble-shooter from indie studio IriySoft: a chain of colored spheres crawls along a winding track toward a hole at the end, and you control a cannon at the center of the screen that fires marbles into the chain to stop it. Match three or more of the same color and that cluster pops; let the chain reach the hole and the run ends.

It plays fast and round-based rather than slow and strategic — the chain never stops moving, so each shot has to be aimed while you’re still tracking where the next gap will open. Popping one cluster can shift two other colors together and trigger a second match right after it, which is where the score climbs fastest.

Controls

Desktop: move the mouse to aim the cannon, left-click to fire the loaded marble.

Mobile: tap where you want to shoot.

Tips

  • Clear near the front of the chain rather than wherever a match happens to line up — marbles closest to the hole are the ones actually threatening you, and popping them buys the most time.
  • Watch for chain reactions: a cluster that pops can pull two separated groups of the same color together, so a shot that looks like a small match can set off a bigger one immediately after.
  • Take the extra half-second to aim instead of firing on reflex. The chain keeps advancing while you’re lining up, but a wasted shot costs more time than a careful one.
