Max and Mink is a cooperative puzzle platformer where teamwork is the only way forward. You play as two distinct characters—a flying creature and his partner—who must combine their unique abilities to navigate each level and reach the exit doors. While you can play solo by switching between characters, it also makes for an excellent two-player experience where coordination is key.
The puzzles revolve around relying on each other’s strengths. Max has the ability to take flight and bend his body to act as a bridge or a ramp, while Mink must use those paths to climb and reach areas she couldn’t get to alone. Every stage challenges you to figure out the right sequence of moves to get both characters safely to the end while collecting magical mushrooms along the way.
Controls
- Max: Use WASD keys to move and fly.
- Mink: Use the Arrow keys to move and jump.
Tips for Co-op
- Stay together: Don’t rush ahead with one character. Keep them relatively close so they can quickly help each other over gaps and walls.
- Use Max as a platform: Max’s ability to bend his body is essential. Position him carefully over spikes or gaps so Mink has a safe path across.
