Draw paths to connect matching colorful monsters in Martin Magni's grid puzzle. Link every pair on the board without crossing lines to clear all 100 levels.
Monster Match
Monster Match is a charming and mentally stimulating puzzle game developed by Martin Magni. Inspired by classic grid-based line connection mechanics, the game tasks you with connecting matching pairs of colorful monsters scattered across a grid. Your goal is to draw paths that link all identical creatures without letting any lines cross or overlap, ensuring every square on the board is utilized.
Each session presents a clean, grid-based interface where colorful monster blocks wait for their matching partners. The pacing is entirely up to you, with no timers or rushing, allowing you to carefully map out the ideal pathways. With 100 levels that gradually scale in size and complexity, it offers a satisfying progression of spatial puzzles that test your foresight and grid management skills.
Controls
Monster Match features simple mouse and touchscreen controls designed for quick, precise path drawing:
- Desktop (PC): Click and drag from one monster to its matching partner to draw a path.
- Mobile / Tablet: Tap and drag from one monster to its matching partner to draw a path.
- Clear Path: Click or tap on an existing line to delete it and start over.
Tips for Success
- Start at the Edges: Focus on linking monster pairs located near corners and outer walls first. These positions have the fewest potential paths, so locking their connections early makes it much easier to solve the rest of the board.
- Leave Room for Inner Paths: Avoid wrapping your lines tightly around open spaces. Keeping your paths as direct as possible ensures you do not inadvertently block off remaining monster pairs.
- Clear and Retry: Don’t hesitate to reset your lines if you get stuck. Since the paths cannot cross, some of the trickier levels require you to route lines completely around the perimeter to leave the center open.
If you enjoy testing your brain with spatial logic puzzles, Monster Match is the perfect casual challenge to play in your browser. Once you have mastered all 100 levels of monster-linking, try sorting colorful liquids in Water Sort or clearing rows in Block Blast for more grid-based fun.
