Mutiny is a turn-based tactical physics game by Nitrome that brings chaotic, pirate-themed artillery battles straight to your browser. You command a small crew of three pirates stationed across hazardous floating platforms, facing off against rival crews in a battle of aim and position. To win, you must either completely deplete the health of the opposing team or use the environment to your advantage by throwing them off the map into the depths below.

Every turn presents a tactical choice. Before launching a weapon, you can reposition a pirate by lifting and tossing them onto a new platform, allowing you to secure high ground or distance yourself from unstable structures. Once positioned, you select from a quirky arsenal of explosives—ranging from standard bombs to bouncing bananas that detonate on command—and carefully plot your trajectory. Success requires balancing raw damage against the constant threat of being knocked into the ocean by the recoil of explosions.

Controls

• Select a Pirate: Left-click on any active pirate in your crew.
• Reposition / Throw: Click and drag a selected pirate to toss them to a new platform (one move allowed per turn before firing).
• Aim and Shoot: Click and drag away from your pirate to set the angle and power, then release to launch your weapon.
• Detonate Banana Bomb: Left-click while the banana is in mid-air to detonate it early.

Tips & Strategies

• Prioritize Ring-Outs: Depleting an enemy pirate’s health can take multiple hits, but tossing them into the water is an instant defeat. Look for opponents positioned near platform edges and target them first.
• Watch the Recoil: Weapons cause powerful knockback. Keep your own crew away from steep edges, and be careful not to trigger a chain reaction that knocks your own pirates into the sea.
• Master the Banana Detonation: The banana bomb is one of your most versatile weapons. Don’t just wait for it to land; detonate it mid-bounce to catch enemies on high platforms or bypass cover.
