In Nano War, you command a microscopic blue organism in a fast-paced battle for survival and domination. Your goal is to overwhelm and absorb every other cell on the board, systematically turning neutral and enemy nodes to your color. The gameplay is fluid and highly strategic: cells continuously regenerate units based on their size, and success depends on constantly reevaluating where to strike and where to reinforce.
A typical match starts with a scramble for neutral cells to build an early numerical advantage. As the map fills up, the game shifts into a chaotic tug-of-war where you must carefully time your attacks and bait enemies into wasting their forces. It is a delicate balance of aggressive expansion and calculated defense, where a single misjudged swarm can leave your home nodes vulnerable to counterattacks.
Controls
- Mouse / Touch: Click or tap and drag from one of your cells to a target cell to send half of your current units. You can drag across multiple of your own cells to launch a coordinated strike from several locations at once.
Strategy and Tips
- Prioritize neutrals early: Grab the largest neutral cells first. Their higher unit cap and faster regeneration rate will give you a massive early-game advantage.
- Wait for the clash: If two AI opponents are fighting over a cell, hold off on attacking. Let them drain each other numbers, then swoop in and capture the weakened node for yourself.
- The multi-select swipe: You can select multiple friendly cells by dragging through them before releasing on a target. Use this to instantly flood a heavily defended enemy node with a massive combined wave.
- Do not leave yourself empty: Sending units halves your cell population. Avoid attacking from your frontline nodes if an enemy is already targeting them.
