Guide Papa Louie through platforming levels full of food monsters, battling with a bat and pepper bombs to rescue kidnapped employees and customers.
Papa Louie
Before he ran his own pizzeria empire, Papa Louie got pulled into a nightmare made of junk food. Papa Louie: When Pizzas Attack!, the platformer from Flipline Studios that kicked off the whole Papa’s series, drops him into a string of worlds built from pizza boxes and crawling with pizza slices, hot dogs, and other food gone wrong.
Each level is a straightforward run-and-jump: cross platforms made of crust and topping, swing a bat at anything that gets close, and throw pepper bombs at enemies you’d rather not touch. Locked doors around the stage hide the employees and customers the food monsters have kidnapped — free them as you go. Cheese monsters are the one enemy that won’t fall to a bat or a bomb; you have to knock their own shots back at them instead.
Controls
- Left / Right arrow keys — move (hold to run)
- Space — jump; hold it in midair to glide
- Z — swing your bat at nearby enemies
- X — throw a pepper bomb at range
It’s a keyboard game through and through — there’s no touch layout worth relying on, so it plays best at a desk.
Tips that actually help
- Restock on pepper bombs whenever you pass one — they’re your only ranged option, so running dry leaves you swinging blind at everything that isn’t right next to you.
- Hold space right as you leave a ledge instead of tapping it — the extra hangtime from gliding clears gaps a flat jump won’t.
- Against cheese monsters, wait for their shot and hit it back instead of trying to bat or bomb through — that’s the only thing that actually damages them.
