Mine layer after layer of blocks in PickCrafter, an idle clicker where coins buy pickaxes and miners and prestige resets pay off.
Pickcrafter
PickCrafter is an idle mining game from developer Fiveamp: you click through layer after layer of blocks, breaking rock, ore, and the occasional treasure chest to earn coins and gems. There is no jumping or dodging here, just a satisfying tap-tap-tap rhythm as cracks spread across each block and it finally shatters, dropping loot straight into your stockpile.
The loop is built for both active and idle play. While you are clicking, hired miners keep chipping away in the background, so leaving the tab open for a while and coming back to a fuller stockpile is part of the design. Coins buy stronger pickaxes and more miners, gems unlock permanent upgrades, and once progress on a mine slows down you can prestige to reset your depth in exchange for a lasting multiplier that makes the next run faster.
Controls
- Mouse click / tap: Strike the block layer directly in front of you to mine it.
- On-screen menus: Buy pickaxes, hire miners, and manage upgrades through the shop and inventory buttons — there is no keyboard control scheme, the whole game runs on pointer input.
Tips that actually help
- Upgrade your pickaxe before hiring more miners early on: a stronger pickaxe raises the damage of every click, which compounds faster than a low-tier miner’s trickle of idle income.
- Prestige once a layer stops moving: if coins per click barely dent the blocks anymore, resetting for the permanent bonus usually pays back within a few minutes of the new run.
- Let it idle between sessions: miners keep working while the game is closed, so checking back after a few hours is often more efficient than a long unbroken clicking session.
It suits anyone who likes a low-pressure game they can pick at in short bursts — a few minutes clicking on a break, then walking away while the miners keep going.
