Plane Wars drops you into the cockpit of a small fighter plane over open water, with rocky islands breaking up the horizon. There’s no story setup and no menu full of options — you take off, the sky fills with enemy planes, and you start shooting.
The plane flies itself forward; your job is aiming. You steer by moving the mouse (or dragging a finger on mobile), swinging your crosshair and the nose of the plane together, and you fire by holding the mouse button down or tapping the on-screen fire button. Enemy planes shoot back, so most of a run is about staying pointed at a target long enough to bring it down while dodging their fire. Coins drop from planes you destroy, and a shop lets you spend them on new planes — the roster runs from common starter models up to rare, epic, gold, and legendary designs, each just a different look and stat spread rather than a new set of moves.
Controls
- Desktop: move the mouse to steer and aim, hold the mouse button to fire.
- Mobile: drag on the screen to steer and aim, tap the fire button to shoot.
There’s a running leaderboard tracking the best scores in a session, so it plays well in short bursts — a few minutes at a time chasing a higher kill count rather than a long sit-down session.
