Planet Merge takes the familiar drop-and-combine puzzle formula and sends it into orbit. Instead of dropping fruit, you are combining celestial bodies inside a confined space, starting with tiny meteorites and moons, and working your way up to massive gas giants and stars. Every time two identical bodies touch, they merge into the next largest planet in the sequence, freeing up space and increasing your score.
The physics in this game play a huge role in your strategy. Planets have weight and momentum, so dropping a heavy planet on top of a smaller one might squeeze it out of place or cause a cascade of unexpected merges. You need to think ahead and carefully manage the limited space in the container, as the game ends the moment any planet spills over the top line.

Tips that actually help
- Keep the big ones together: Try to keep your largest planets in one of the bottom corners. If you let a massive planet get stuck in the middle, it will block smaller planets from reaching each other.
- Use weight to your advantage: You can use a newly dropped, heavy planet to push smaller planets aside or force them into gaps they wouldn’t normally fall into.
- Watch the next item: Always keep an eye on the indicator showing your next drop. It allows you to plan your current move so that the board is set up perfectly for the one that follows.
