Robot Unicorn Attack Robot Unicorn Attack

Dash and jump your unicorn through an endless candy-colored world, smashing stars for points while Erasure's Always loops in the background.

Robot Unicorn Attack

fugiman

Robot Unicorn Attack turns you into a magical, dashing unicorn galloping non-stop across a candy-colored world of rolling hills, rainbows, and shooting stars. You never control forward movement — the unicorn runs on its own — so the whole game comes down to two decisions: when to jump the gaps and spikes in your path, and when to dash through the stars and fairies floating overhead. It’s built for one thing: chasing distance and points until you finally misjudge a jump.

The whole run plays out over Erasure’s “Always” on a loop, and that’s not incidental — the song sets the pace as much as the level layout does. Rounds are short, usually a minute or two before a gap catches you out, and the game leans into its own absurdity with a dry, mock-inspirational message when you fall. It’s less about a skill tree and more about chasing that one run where every jump and dash lines up.

Controls

This version runs as an emulated Flash game, so it plays with the original keyboard scheme: Up Arrow or Space to jump, tapping again in mid-air for a second jump to clear wider gaps. Down Arrow to dash — the move that lets you smash through stars and obstacles instead of just running into them, and it’s also how points add up. Because it’s Flash-based, it’s built for keyboard play; tapping the screen may not respond as reliably as the arrow keys do.

Tips that actually help

  • Dash right before a jump rather than after — it carries your momentum through the jump and clears obstacles you’d otherwise clip.
  • If a fairy and a star are both in reach but you can only grab one, take the fairy first — catching one changes your unicorn’s color and adds more to your score than a single star does.
  • The run speeds up the longer you survive, so don’t jump on reflex from a few seconds ago — gaps that felt early will need a later jump as the pace picks up.
