Snackio is a mouse-only puzzle game: steer a hungry snake around grid levels, eat food, and collect all three stars without hitting a wall or your own tail.
Snackio
Snackio takes the classic snake formula and turns it into a puzzle: instead of racing for a high score on an open field, you’re steering a hungry snake through a fixed grid of walls, guiding it toward scattered food and three stars tucked into each stage. Every level is a small routing problem — grow too long in the wrong direction and you’ll box yourself in against your own tail.
A round starts calm and gets tighter as your snake fills up with the apples it eats. The goal on each stage is simple to state and harder to execute: clear all three stars without crashing into a wall or doubling back into your own body. It’s a short-session game built for one grid puzzle at a time rather than an endless run.
Controls
Snackio is mouse-only. Click to start the snake moving, then guide it by moving your cursor around the grid — there’s no keyboard input. On phones and tablets, the same steering works with a touch joystick.
Tips that actually help
- Plan your route to all three stars before you start eating — a longer snake is much harder to redirect mid-level.
- Leave yourself an escape lane near walls; a snake that’s boxed itself in against its own tail has nowhere left to turn.
- Grab the nearest star first rather than the furthest — it keeps your tail shorter while you work out the rest of the route.
