Square Bird Square Bird

Drop square eggs to lift a forward-flying bird over each obstacle in Square Bird, then chain three Perfects in a row to trigger egg-smashing Fever Mode.

Square Bird

Square Bird is a one-button stacking game: a little bird flies forward on its own, and every tap or click drops a square egg beneath it. Line up enough eggs and the growing stack lifts the bird just high enough to clear the next wall, spike, or gap in its path — misjudge the height and it slams straight into the obstacle.

The skill is all in the timing. Tap too little and the bird flies into whatever is ahead; tap too much and you overshoot into the ceiling or the next hazard. Nail an obstacle at exactly the right height and you land a “Perfect” — string three Perfects together and the bird enters Fever Mode, firing its stacked eggs forward to smash through everything in its way for a few seconds.

Controls

  • Keyboard: Spacebar to drop an egg
  • Mouse: Left click to drop an egg
  • Touch: Tap the screen to drop an egg

That’s the whole input — one action, used at the right moment, is the entire game.

Tips that actually help

  • Watch the top of the obstacle ahead, not the bird — you’re judging the stack’s height against the gap, not the bird’s position.
  • Tap in short, even bursts rather than holding a rhythm going into a jump; obstacles vary in height so each one needs its own read.
  • Chasing three Perfects in a row for Fever Mode is worth the risk on easier stretches, but play safe through tight obstacle clusters where one bad tap ends the run.
