Command a stick-figure army in Stick War: mine gold, train troops, and push to destroy the enemy nation's statue before they destroy yours.
Stick War
Stick War drops you into command of a nation of stick-figure soldiers whose only job is to knock down a rival nation’s statue before they knock down yours. You start with a single miner chipping gold out of a vein and a home base that has to survive the whole match — everything else in the game is built out from there.
The loop repeats every match: mine gold, spend it on troops, then push those troops toward the enemy line. Sit back mining too long and your army falls behind; send everything forward at once and an empty base can get overrun while your army is away. Most of the actual skill here is reading when to hold and when to commit, not clicking fast.
Controls
Everything runs off the mouse — there’s no keyboard shortcut list to learn. Click the gold mine to send a miner to work, click a unit icon along the bottom bar to train that unit for its listed gold cost, then drag a selection box over your troops and click where you want them to move or attack.
Tips that actually help
- Keep gold coming in before you keep spending it — an idle mine slows down every purchase you’ll want to make later in the match.
- Don’t send your whole army forward the moment you can afford to. Hold back a couple of units to guard your statue so a counter-push doesn’t end the match while your troops are away.
- Melee and ranged troops cover different jobs — a front line with nothing behind it, or ranged units with nothing in front of them, both fall apart faster than a mixed group.
