Sumo Party is a fast-paced multiplayer wrestling game where your only goal is to be the last wrestler standing in the arena. You face off against up to three other players—either computer-controlled or local friends—in a tiny circular ring. There is no health bar and no complex fighting system; you just need to shove your opponents out of bounds before they do the same to you.
The gameplay relies entirely on timing and momentum. Your sumo wrestler rotates automatically on the spot, and you must press the action button at the exact right moment to charge forward. A missed charge will send you sliding helplessly toward the edge, leaving you vulnerable to a push or even throwing yourself out of the ring entirely. It creates chaotic, tense matches that are perfect for quick, competitive sessions.
Controls
- Desktop: Each player uses a single key (often W, P, C, or M depending on the player slot) to charge.
- Mobile/Touch: Tap your designated corner of the screen to charge.
Tips for Winning
- Wait for the counter-attack: Let your opponent charge first. If they miss and hit the edge, you can easily tap to push them off before they recover.
- Don’t spam the button: Repeatedly tapping will make your character move erratically and often right out of the arena. Only charge when you are lined up with an opponent or the center of the ring.
- Control the center: It is much harder to be pushed out if you are standing dead center. Focus on recovering to the middle rather than endlessly chasing enemies around the edges.
