Tribals.io drops you onto a massive island with nothing but a rock and a pressing need to survive. It’s a full-fledged multiplayer survival game right in your browser, blending the tense player-versus-player combat of Rust with the accessible crafting and building of Minecraft. You’ll start by furiously whacking trees and boulders to gather basic materials, but soon you’ll be constructing sprawling bases, crafting firearms, and defending your territory from rival clans.
The pace is entirely up to you. You can play as a lone wolf scavenging the ruins for rare loot while dodging other players, or you can team up with friends to build an impenetrable fortress and dominate the server. Hunger and thirst are constant threats, meaning you’ll need to hunt chickens or bears, cook food, and find water just to stay alive before you even worry about the neighbors.

Tips that actually help
- Upgrade your tool first: Your starting rock is painfully slow. Make a stone hatchet as your very first craft—it speeds up wood and stone gathering immensely.
- Build a sleeping bag early: Placing a sleeping bag inside a simple wooden shelter sets your spawn point. Without it, dying means starting back on the beach with nothing.
- Watch your hunger and thirst: Don’t let your meters empty, or your health will slowly drain. Cooked meat restores much more hunger than raw, and berries can provide a quick boost to both meters.
- Hide your base: Don’t build right next to the big monuments. Find a quiet corner of the map or a dense forest to hide your first base while you gather resources.
