Watermelon Drop is a highly addictive physics-based puzzle game where your goal is to merge matching fruits to create the largest one possible. You control a claw that drops various fruits into a container. When two identical fruits touch, they automatically merge into the next largest fruit in the sequence, freeing up space and earning you points.
The challenge comes from managing the limited space inside the box. As fruits pile up and bounce around thanks to the physics engine, they can easily shift in unexpected ways. If any fruit crosses the line at the top of the container, your run is over. The ultimate goal is to chain enough merges to create the massive watermelon without overflowing the box.
Controls
- Mouse / Touch: Click and drag, or swipe left and right to aim your drop. Release or tap to drop the fruit.
Tips for High Scores
- Keep large fruits at the bottom: Try to keep your biggest fruits in the corners and the smaller ones on top. If a small fruit gets trapped under a large one, it becomes very hard to merge later.
- Anticipate the bounce: Fruits are round and bouncy! They will often roll off each other. Use this to your advantage to slide a fruit into a tight gap.
- Look ahead: You can see which fruit is coming next. Plan your current drop to set up a combo for the next one.
