Wood Blocks 3D takes the classic block-fitting puzzle formula and gives it a satisfying, tactile wooden aesthetic. You are given an empty grid and a continuous supply of randomized block shapes that you must drag and drop into place. Whenever a full horizontal or vertical line is formed, those blocks vanish, freeing up valuable space.
The challenge comes from managing the board as it gets more crowded. Since you receive pieces in batches of three, you have to place all of them before getting new ones. The run ends when a generated shape cannot physically fit into any of your remaining empty spaces, making spatial awareness and careful planning critical to hitting new high scores.
Controls
- Mouse / Touch: Click and hold (or tap and hold) a block, then drag it to your desired location on the grid. Release to drop it into place.
Tips for High Scores
- Focus on corners: Try to keep your placements packed closely towards the edges and corners to leave large, open blocks of space in the middle for awkward shapes.
- Plan for the worst: Always leave at least one large 3×3 or long 5-block area open if you can. Drawing a massive piece with no room means instant game over.
- Clear multiple lines: Setting up the board to clear two or three lines with a single piece placement helps manage the board more efficiently.
