Forge swords, axes, bows, and cannons for your warriors in Jacksmith, then watch the battle prove whether your craftsmanship held up.
Jacksmith
Jacksmith puts you behind the anvil as a blacksmith donkey running a village forge, arming a squad of warriors before they march out to fight. Every level opens in the workshop: pick a blueprint, choose your ore, then melt, pour, and hammer it into a sword, axe, bow, or cannon piece by piece.
Once your warriors are outfitted, the game cuts to a side-scrolling battle that plays out automatically — a well-forged blade or a properly braced bow visibly outperforms a rushed one, and the loot that comes back funds the next round of crafting and shop upgrades.
Controls
Mouse only. Left-click and drag to melt ore, hammer metal into shape, and assemble the finished weapon; click to choose blueprints, equip your squad, and send them into battle.
Tips that actually help
- Take the forging steps seriously rather than rushing through them — weapon quality carries straight into battle performance, not just how the piece looks.
- Spend loot gems at Ganders’ shop before starting your next blueprint; better materials and accessories carry over into every weapon you craft that day.
- Mix weapon types across your squad. Swords and axes handle close combat, while bows and cannons hit at range — one type alone leaves gaps a mixed squad covers.
Jacksmith comes from Flipline Studios, the team behind the Papa’s cooking games, and that same time-management rhythm shows up here in how crafting and combat feed each other.
