Orb.Farm is a calm browser ecosystem sim: tend a sealed aquatic terrarium of shrimp and algae with your mouse, no levels, just a living jar to check on.
Orb Farm
Orb.Farm drops you into a sealed glass jar with water, algae, and a small colony of shrimp, and asks you to keep that miniature reef in balance instead of chasing a score. There’s no timer and no “win” screen — the jar is a living system that keeps running whether you’re watching it or not, closer to a desktop terrarium than a level-based game.
Most of a session is just watching and nudging: the shrimp drift and graze on algae, the water shifts with light and oxygen, and your interactions gently tip that balance one way or another. It’s built for checking in for a few minutes at a time rather than one long sitting.
Controls
Mouse: click and drag inside the jar to interact with the water, algae, and shrimp. Touch: the same works with tap-and-drag on mobile — no keyboard is needed.
If you like Orb.Farm’s slow, ambient pace, it’s worth knowing it comes from the same creator as Sandspiel, the falling-sand physics toy — both trade objectives for a small system you get to poke at and watch settle.
