You are the new security guard at Fazbear’s Fright, a horror-themed attraction built from salvaged relics of the old pizza restaurant — and Springtrap, the game’s one animatronic, is somewhere in those halls every night. Everything in the game pivots on locating him and keeping him away from your booth until 6 AM.
Where earlier entries gave you multiple animatronics to track, this one gives you three systems to keep alive: cameras, audio lures, and ventilation. Use the audio tool to play sounds in a specific room and pull Springtrap toward it; use the camera feed to confirm he moved. The ventilation is the quiet killer — let it fail and phantom versions of older animatronics flood your feeds and trigger more malfunctions. A night that started in control can unravel fast if you ignore the ventilation warning once too often.
Controls
The game runs on mouse input only. Click the CAM tab to open the camera grid and click any room to view it. The AUDIO tab plays a luring sound in the currently selected room, drawing Springtrap toward it. Click VENT to reboot the ventilation system when the alert appears. Clicking a tab again closes the panel. On mobile, tap in place of click — the browser port supports touch input.
Tips
- Use the audio lure early each night to pull Springtrap into a room far from your office before systems start degrading.
- Watch the ventilation warning before anything else. A failed vent lets phantoms pile onto your other systems; it takes five seconds to reboot and saves far more than that in damage control.
- If audio and cameras are both down at the same time, reboot cameras first — you cannot lure what you cannot see.
- Pay attention to the mini-games that play after each completed night. Finishing each one in the right sequence unlocks the game’s alternate ending.
