Zombie Merge
Zombie Merge is a grid puzzle where you combine matching undead creatures to evolve them into progressively stronger ones. Drag a zombie onto another of the same type and the two fuse into the next tier — from fresh shambler to hulking abomination — in a single satisfying click. The goal is to keep chaining those merges before the board fills and leaves you stuck.
Sessions stay relaxed at first, but the grid gets complicated quickly. New zombies appear regularly and the real skill is keeping lanes clear so you can act when two high-tier pieces land near each other. Spotting a chain — where one merge puts you right next to another match — and riding it through three or four levels is what makes a good run feel different from a muddled one.

Tips
- Leave the center open. Merges radiate outward — if the middle of the grid is occupied, your options shrink fast when new pieces drop in the wrong spots.
- Clear low-level pairs immediately. A stranded level-one zombie in a corner costs you a slot for every turn until you finally reach it. Merge them the moment a partner appears.
- Think one step ahead. Before dragging, check where the result will land. A merge that creates a new pair somewhere else is twice as good as one that doesn’t.
