You start your run through the city streets as a single zombie, charging forward automatically. Every lone human you bite gets converted instantly into another runner in your crowd, turning a solitary sprint into a massive, stampeding wave of destruction.
The core challenge comes from maintaining momentum while navigating hazards across busy city streets. Deep gaps, landmines, oncoming traffic, and airborne helicopters constantly threaten to wipe out your group. Because your jump timing must account for both the lead zombie and the trailing crowd, managing group size is essential for surviving long distance runs and overturning heavy vehicles filled with extra victims.
Controls
- Click or Spacebar: Press to jump. Press and hold to extend your jump time and glide across wider gaps.
- Touch / Mobile: Tap the screen to jump; hold your tap for extended airtime.
Survival & Horde Management Tips
- Watch the lead zombie: Jump height and distance are calculated from the front edge of your swarm. Time your jumps based on when the front runner reaches an edge, rather than waiting for the middle of the crowd.
- Save larger crowds for vehicles: Cars require 2 zombies to flip over, buses need 8, and tanks require 16. If your horde meets the requirement, overturn them for bonus infected survivors; otherwise, jump over them to avoid losing zombies.
- Master the hold-jump: Holding down click or tap provides extended airtime, which is essential for clearing double-width chasms when your crowd is strung out.
- Collect mystery bonus boxes: Pick up floating bonus boxes along the road to trigger temporary transformations like the Giant Zomb, Ninja, or Tsunami wave, which clear obstacles automatically.
